Educator Training

Problems with attention and self-regulation are the biggest impediment to school readiness in preschoolers, yet many teachers do not receive specialized training to handle these challenging children. Although many children will show improvement as a result of participating in the CUIDAR program services, they may still manifest behavior problems in the classroom. Part of CUIDAR's mission is to provide education and consultation for teachers regarding how to identify specific problem behaviors and how to effectively respond to these behaviors within their classroom.

CUIDAR offers a series of didactic seminars on management of disruptive behaviors in the classroom. Trainings can be tailored to the needs of the teachers or educators requesting services. Interested teachers and educators may call (949) 824-1804 for additional information on these seminars.
